Jamey St. Pierre
Jamey St. Pierre’s music and vocal stylings sprouted from the church hymns he sang as a child, and the songs his mamma used to play on the front porch with her guitar. He can often be caught down on Frenchmen street belting songs from his favorite artists, such as Allen Toussaint, Bill Withers, and Billie Holiday. His original compositions hang amongst the flowering fruit of these beloved artists, infusing the city’s traditional music scene with his “New Orleans Authentic Soul”.
